Emergency Responders of Florida (ERF) is a faith-based nonprofit built on service. From natural disasters to medical emergencies, we’re here for Florida, equipped, licensed, and ready to respond wherever we’re needed.
Since 2008, we’ve been answering the call across Florida, delivering trusted, licensed, emergency care and disaster response when it matters most.
ERF began with a simple idea: neighbors helping neighbors.
In 2008, a small group of volunteers came together in the wake of back-to-back storms in Florida. Among them were EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, religious leaders, nurses, doctors, and more, each bringing a unique skill set but united by one mission: to serve those in crisis with compassion and urgency.
What started as a grassroots effort quickly grew. As emergencies became more frequent and widespread, the need for an organized response team became clear.
With one handling logistics and training, another focused on medical operations, and a third leading community outreach and partnerships, the group laid the foundation for what would become Emergency Responders of Florida — a nonprofit built on trust, skill, and heart.
To this day, that original spirit of service remains at the core of everything ERF does: show up, serve well, and support every life they touch.
