Built to Serve. Ready to Respond.
Emergency Responders of Florida has served communities since 2008 through emergency response, disaster relief, Search & Rescue, and medical readiness.
ERF began with a simple idea: neighbors helping neighbors. In 2008, after back-to-back storms in Florida, a small group of volunteers came together to serve people in crisis. The group included EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, nurses, doctors, and other community members — each bringing unique skills but sharing one mission: serve with urgency and care.
What started as a grassroots effort grew into an organized response team. With leaders focused on logistics, training, medical operations, community outreach, and partnerships, ERF became a nonprofit built on trust, skill, and purpose.
That original spirit still guides the organization today: show up, serve well, and support every life touched.
ERF is rooted in values of service, compassion, responsibility, and community care. As a faith-based nonprofit, we believe in showing up for people when support is needed most.
